Catherine Donato - Studio Owner
Catherine's journey into Pilates began as a pathway to rehabilitation after knee surgery, where she discovered its profound ability to connect mind and body, emerging stronger than ever before.
In 2016, Catherine realised her dream with the founding of Align Pilates Studio, driven by a vision of inclusivity that embraces everyBODY, regardless of ability or age.
A dedicated Pilates instructor since 2012, Catherine's draws on her dance background to infuse her classes with energy, creativity and the foundational Pilates principles. Catherine's focus on technique ensures each client’s experience is tailored to their individual needs
Alicia Threadgold - Assistant Manager
Alicia was introduced to the Pilates method for injury rehabilitation and prevention during her studies as a full-time dancer at Patrick Studios Australia. She found Pilates offered a unique movement experience combining movement and mindfulness that left her feeling euphoric, she immediately was drawn to deepen her Pilates education.
Alicia has a deep passion for helping people both mentally and physically, creating a positive space for people to feel comfortable to explore and experience the wonderful feeling that all bodies are designed to feel.
Keeley Green - Pilates Instructor
Keeley first discovered Pilates while managing an injury, and that's where her passion for it began. After experiencing firsthand how much Pilates can support recovery, build strength, improve sport performance and enhance mental wellbeing she now loves helping others achieve those same benefits.
Keeley has experience teaching private sessions, small groups, and larger classes. Her approach is supportive, clear, and centred around helping people move well and feel confident in their bodies. Whether someone is brand new to Pilates or working toward specific goals, Keeley enjoys guiding clients through movement that feels purposeful, safe, and supportive.
Sydney Henry - Pilates Instructor
Originally from Canada, Sydney is our classical Pilates guru here at Align. She completed her certification in 2014 at The Pilates Centre in Boulder, Colorado - one of the most comprehensive and respected programs in the world.
Sydney's classes blend mindful, precise movement with a sense of fun and challenge, helping clients feel stronger, more balanced, and more connected in their bodies. Following her own recent pregnancy journey, she's developed a special passion for supporting women through prenatal and postnatal Pilates. Sydney also has a keen interest in working with clients managing knee, hip, and shoulder pathologies.
Jamie Chui - Pilates Instructor
Jamie’s fitness journey began with a passion for movement, leading her to become a personal trainer. After noticing many struggling with physical discomfort, Jamie discovered Pilates - a form of exercise that promotes body awareness and targets our anatomy’s strengths. Inspired, Jamie became a Pilates Instructor, focusing on inclusive workouts for all levels and body types. Beyond the studio, Jamie works as a Dietician, driven by her passion for nutrition and health.
Claire Stubbs - Pilates Instructor
Claire is a professional dancer and a Pilates / Barre instructor. After completing her formal dance training, Claire was seeking a form of exercise that would complement her training and career. She stumbled across Pilates and she fell in love instantly! Claire loves the creative ways you can explore movement through all Pilates disciplines and she throughly enjoys the challenges, endorphins (and often the shakes) that come as a result. Her goal is to help clients explore movement, grow stronger and feel like their best selves in every class.
Maria Petinatos - Pilates Instructor
Maria is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall well-being. Her journey to Pilates began when she discovered its transformative benefits for both the body and mind. Maria’s approach to teaching is nurturing and empowering, creating a welcoming environment.
